In response to an increase in parking issues being reported around the school, please find attached a Keep kids safe – traffic rules around schools information sheet. Please also be advised that City of Marion Council Inspectors will also be paying extra attention to the area around our school due to increasing complaints made about parking breaches. SAPOL have also been contacted to increase their presence in our area before/after school to ensure drivers are adhering to school zone and general traffic regulations. The safety of our students, families and staff is our highest priority, so please model safe and compliant behaviours at all times and talk with your children about how to keep themselves safe when entering/exiting the school and walking around our local community.
Please pay extra attention during Pick up / Drop off and ensure that children are not being dropped off or picked up in the middle of the road, or where there are yellow lines (especially after the crossing).
